Simply Spun is a small design studio (just me!) helping small businesses and nonprofits tell their stories through thoughtful branding, websites, and visual design.
I’m Charlotte, the designer behind it all. I bring together 5+ years of professional design experience. I started Simply Spun when I left a teaching career to raise my 3 children. With a background in design from Miami University and experience teaching coding courses, I started designing websites and graphics for small businesses and nonprofits.
My background as a teacher taught me to love creating systems that are beautiful, functional, and easy to understand. And I’ve always believed that behind every small business and nonprofit is a dream and a passion. I love working with those dreamers to communicate their vision, tell their story, and showcase the work they care so deeply about.

Professional Design Tools (I only use Canva for items clients want to be able to edit themselves)
I use a lot of HTML & CSS within WordPress' Elementor to customize and make your designs look professsional
Templates I do not use templates because the organization & content on your site is unique to your business! Instead, I listen to you and work with you to figure out what matters and how it should flow.
AI I use AI purely for brainstorming and the first draft of copy content, AI may help me brainstorm, but the end product is custom built and custom worded to fit your business.
